The first race of the Winter Series 2016 got underway today.
Over 30 boats, including waka, kayak and rowboats competed in the 5km course. We also had crew competing form Wellington and Horowhenua.
Union entered 9 crews in this Prognostic timed event. The best of the bunch was Phillipa Baker-Hogan placing 5th, followed by our Master Composite Crew 4X-, Bob, Jennie, Liz and Peer coming in 7th.
Congratulations to Aramoho crew (MGM2x) Trevor Rush and Richard Brock for winning todays race.

2nd Place : Star Boating Club – Club M4X – Connor, Tristan, Thomas & Kyle
3rd Place : Whanganui Kayak Club – MGM2X – Robyn & Brian
