Union currently supports a squad of “senior” competitive club rowers. School Rowing constitutes a major part of Union Boat Club with groups from Girls College and Cullinane involved in training programs.

Union Boat Club throughout its history has been at the forefront of National completion. The emphasis has shifted over time from Heavyweight men’s eights to sculling recent times but the club’s reputation for producing top crews and coaches remains.

For the 2010-2011 season UBC will have 8 females and 8 males in the senior squad.
